Cube AMS 130 SL
The Cube AMS 130 SL is a full suspension mountain bike from the German based company, that provides a very high level of quality and performance. The AMS range is massive, with lots of different mountain bikes, and even inside the so called ‘sub range’, which is the AMS 130 bikes, you still have numerous versions. In this review, I will look at the 130 SL bike, which is one of the best and most expensive.
With the Cube AMS 130 SL, you will notice that a number of new and top technologies are used to make this MTB as light, fast, stiff and cheap as possible. These technologies include; tapered steering, press fit ball bearings, X12 through axle, wet paint surface, hydroforming system and many others. Together with the top quality parts, they combine to make a 12.5 Kg mountain bike that is as fast as it can possibly be.
The Cube AMS 130 SL is made from a high performance 7005 aluminium alloy to make the bike both light and strong. With a number of Shimano Decore components, like the derailluer’s, a Fox Factory suspension and Schwalbe tyres, it’s easy to see why this bikes has this price tag attached!
