A bicycle will be a bicycle, only when it is fitted with a fitting cycle chain; if not it will be just a carbon, aluminum or a platinum frame, with a saddle and pedals! Basically, there are two varieties of cycle chains, which can be successfully used for carrying out the various needs. The single speed cycle chain is a perfect match for children’s bikes, coaster brake cruisers, BMX bicycles or cargo carrying bikes. Then there are multi-speed cycle chains and these are generally used in bikes which are fitted with front and rear derailleur for the purpose of gear changing.
Of course you can go for any type of cycle chain that pleases your mental liking and that goes well with the occasion; whatever be the type or brand, you will have to do some primary things for maintaining the quality of the used cycle chain. The first and foremost necessity is cleaning it in a regular fashion; this holds great importance and only through regular cleaning you will be able to remove effectively the accumulated dust and dirt. After cleaning you will have to lubricate the used cycle chain by using proper oil and this process makes sure that the rider is getting a comfy ride.
