Cycling Jerseys – MTB Jerseys
Cycling jerseys need to come in different size ranges as they are supposed to be a very tight fit. This means that to fit people of all sizes and builds, cycling jerseys need to be made in all of the uncommon size ranges, as well as the most common ones. Most cyclists do have the same general build, however, some, mainly the beginners have varying shapes!
You can always buy a one of the team cycling jerseys to make you look more professional and feel as if you’re a top rider. However, there are lots of jerseys that are more for comedy, for example, the Heinz beans jersey or the Deano jersey after the famous cartoon. These are mainly for road biking; mountain biking jerseys on the other hand don’t change much in terms of style and design.
Mountain bike jerseys are generally looser than their road cycling counterparts. This is because mountain biking is more of the sprint and road biking would be the marathon. Therefore, different cycling jerseys need to be designed and developed for each. There are also some other considerations with MTB jerseys that aren’t involved in road cycling, for example, they are more likely to get dirty and also more likely to be ripped during a crash or fall.
