Felt Heretic – The Bike Expert
The Felt Heretic would be described as an ‘average’ BMX bike, with a medium price and performance that is perfect for kids or anyone who’s just starting out. With the Felt Heretic 16″ is the edition of this best selling BMX that has been specifically designed for kids. Both come in either black or white, with a simple design that does not go over the top and looks quite sensible compared to the blue and yellow Felt Vault for example.
The Felt Heretic is mainly for beginners, as a first BMX bike, however, the Heretic could also be a stepping stone for people who can’t afford the more expensive bikes. With this BMX you get more performance and quality than most of the cheaper bikes that you get, allowing you to get more involved in the sport and improve your all round skills before you hone in on certain skills and tricks.
The Felt Heretic is quite a heavy bike and contains 38 x 14T gearing, so it’s certainly not the best performing BMX on the market this year. However, for the price you are paying, you get quite a lot of bike. The Felt Heretic is also a very durable BMX, meaning that you can fall and crash without worrying about destroying your bike.
