Giant Trance X1 2012
The Giant Trance X1 2012 is a full suspension mountain bike from one of the most adored cycling manufacturers on the planet today. The Trance series has been without doubt, one of their most successful in recent years, with the most expensive, the Giant Trance X1 taking a lot of the credit. Made from the ALUXX SL aluminium composite and radically shaped into a design that provides maximum stiffness levels, the Giant Trance X1 is also lightweight, which definitely helps when you start to become competitive. Giant talk about the X1 stating that it has ‘trail-tune geometry’, which basically means that it has been designed so that it performs to the highest limits, even in the toughest of trails and tracks.
The Giant Trance X1 is very well spec’d with a mixture of Shimano Decore and Shimano SLX components. It also contains a Fox 32 F125RL Evolution Fork and a Fox FLOAT RP2 Shock, some of the very best in the business.
