Many experienced and top class cyclists don’t like brands like Apollo who make cheap equipment that dosen’t push the boundaries in the way that a Commencal or a Specialized bicycle would. However, Apollo mountain bikes weren’t designed to be raced in the world championships, they were designed for normal people to get started in this sport. The bigger brands are to expensive for the average man these days, and company’s like Apollo and Carrera help to give people another option.

The quality of all the Apollo mountain bikes is surprisingly good, especially when you take into consideration that fact they are one of the cheapest brands that you will find. The performance levels don’t match the more expensive brands at thousands of pounds, and to be honest, you wouldn’t expect them to. The Apollo mountain bikes though, do match many of the so called ‘middle class’ bicycles, which are more expensive, but don’t perform as well.

Apoll mountain bikes are just a different level of the cycling industry, and one that people have very mixed opinions on. The more expensiced mountain bikers hate Apollo and brands like it, whereas, the average man who only wants a bike for fun and keeping fit will love them. They are just that sort of brand who divide opinions, but you have to admire the way in which they have grown all over the world insid the last decade.
