Schwalbe Kojak – Slick Road Tyre

As I’m sure you can tell from the picture to the left, the Schwalbe Kojak is a road tyre and nothing else! It certainly looks like one of the faster road tyres out there, and that first presumption that you make is completely correct. Even though the Schwalbe Kojak is relatively cheap compared to a number of other road racing tyres, it still performs quite well.
Even though I said that the Schwalbe Kojak performs well and has quite a high level of quality, it’s not the sort of thing that a pro rider would be using. Their tyres, some of which would be made by Schwalbe themselves can cost well over twice the price of the Kojak, which means that you’re getting good value for money as well as not a bad road tyre.
The Schwalbe Kojak only weighs only about 300 grams but can take a weight right up to 130 kg, which means that almost anyone can use this tyre. For any amateur road cyclists who needs a good tyre, but dosen’t have a fortune to spend, the Schwalbe Kojak could be a great choice for you – you just need to make sure that you’re only using on the road. Any off-road biking at all will tear and wear this tyre as if it wern’t even there.
